The first 140MPa domestic cage throttle valve was successfully applied in Tarim
A made-in-China 140MPa cage throttle valve was applied in Well Keshan 134 Tarim successfully. And it has been working well.
The throttle valves used at the wellhead of the Keshan gas field are mostly imported from abroad as the key technologies was subject to the control of others. In the process of accelerating the construction of 50 million tons of oil and gas equivalent production projects in Xinjiang Province, it is obvious that the high price of imported throttle valve and the long purchase period are no longer suitable for the comprehensive development of gas fields.
“The 140Mpa domestically produced cage-sleeve throttle valve project” is a major pilot test project in Tarim oilfield, focusing on solving the practical problems in the development process of Keshan gas field. Through continuous optimization of seal structure design and improvement of material formula, the project has pursued more pressure-resistant and reliable sealing technology, achieved no leakage of 213 MPa strength test pressure, and set a record for the highest pressure resistance of the dynamic seal of the same type of products.
