The Superiority of Three-way Inner Thread Ball Valves

Three way ball valves and gate valves belong to the same type of valve, but the difference is that the closure member of the former one is a sphere which rotates around the center line of the body to achieve the on and off function. Ball valves, with the functions of cutting, distributing and changing the direction of media flow, are often used in pipelines. As a new type of valve, three way ball valves are widely used in recent years. With convenient switch, small size, reliable sealing and simple structure, inner thread ball valves are easy to maintenance and they can also be made into large caliber. Because the sealing surface and spherical surface are often in the closed state, so they are not easily eroded by media and thus they have been widely used in various industries.

With only 90-degree rotation operation and small torque, three-way inner thread ball valves can be closed tightly. It is generally considered that ball valves are most suitable for direct switches, but with the development in recent years, ball valves have been designed to throttle and control the flow. The main features of ball valves are compact structure, easy operation and maintenance and they are applied in water, solvents, acids, natural gas and other general media. Also, they are suitable for oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, methane, ethylene and other media which have poor working conditions.

Three-way inner thread ball valves, with their own unique structure superiority, are relatively new type of ball valves. Such as: small opening and closing torque, not easy to wear, and switches without friction. All these can reduce the specification of actuators and multi-turn actuators can regulate and cut the media tightly. Three-way inner thread ball valves are widely used in petroleum, chemical, urban drainage and other cutting-required conditions.
