A Brief Introduction of Bellow Seal Valve

On this page
Bellow seal valves are the valves with stem packing of below seal instead of gland packing as we often know. Why do we use bellow seal valve even if the price is comparatively higher?

As we all know, gland packing leakage is a common issue, which will lead to energy loss, environmental pollution or even dangerous accident. However, the bellow seal valve could prevent this issue.

The bellow seal valve has double stem seals. The primary seal is bellow seal and the secondary is the gland packing. These two seals could make sure that the stem is zero leakage, free of packing replacement. Owing to this feature, the bellow seal valves are especially suited for highly hazardous permeable medium.
