Changeover valves are three-way devices for flow selection in a pipeline, typically used to connect two safety valves to a single pressurized system. These devices ensure the possibility to have one safety valve always in operation and one in "stand-by", ready to come into operation. These changeover valves are recommended to increase plant availability or to avoid plant shutdown, avoiding any relevant economic damage.

Changeover valves can be installed individually upstream of the safety valves or upstream and downstream of the safety valves, when outlet is connected to a closed header. If inlet and outlet changeover valves are used, a mechanical interlocking system prevents human error during the operation.

Our simple design allows easy assembly/dis-assembly; easy removable seats allow quick and economic maintenance.

These valves are suitable for a wide range of applications, such as high temperatures, cryogenic service, lethal fluids and many others.
