Pipeline Check Valve Installation

Pipeline Check Valve Installation

On this page
1. When installing, pay attention to the direction of media flow should be consistent with the direction of the arrow in the valve body.

2. Install a check valve before the condensate from the trap enters the recovery manifold to prevent condensate from flowing back.

3. The open rod valve cannot be buried in the ground to prevent the valve stem from rusting. In the trench with the cover, the valve should be installed at the place of maintenance and inspection and operation.

4. Some pipelines that require less water hammer impact or no water strike when closing, it is best to choose a slow closing butterfly check valve and a slow closing swing check valve.

5. When installing the threaded valve, it is necessary to ensure that the thread is intact, and the sealing material is coated according to the different media. When tightening, the force should be evenly distributed to avoid damage to the valve and valve fittings.

6. When the socket type welding valve is installed, the socket should have a gap of 1-2m to prevent the weld from cracking when the thermal stress is too large during welding.

7. When installing on a horizontal pipe, the valve stem should be vertically upward or inclined at an angle, and the valve stem is not allowed to be installed downward.

8. The bottom layer of the butt joint and the pipe joint shall be welded by argon arc welding. The valve shall be opened during welding to prevent overheating deformation.
